Where are you located?

I am a practice currently based in Port Alberni, BC. Virtual sessions will take place via Jane platform. In-person sessions are booked through Island Clinical Counselling, located on 4445 Gertrude St, Port Alberni, BC V9Y 6J7

Who can work with you?

I am currently accepting new clients, adults aged 16+ or chilren and youth with parental consent. If you are a parent wanting to book for your child, please specify so in your booking and create an account for your child.

What’s your payment/cancellation policy?

I offer direct billing to Pacific Blue Cross and Telus Eclaims (multiple plans). I accept payments through credit card, debit visa or e-transfer. I provide receipts for you to submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement. I do require a card to be placed on file after the initial intake, as it allows for easy transactions outside of the session time. Your card will only ever be charged after a session or per the Cancellation Policy below.

Cancellations/reschedules: Your session time is reserved just for you. Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged the full session fee;

Each client is offered one grace reschedule for any reason. If I ever need to cancel or reschedule within 24 hours notice, an additional grace will be added to your account. I understand that life can be unpredictable and we are both humans doing our best.

Do I need to be a writer or poet to work with you?

Absolutely not. I believe everyone can benefit from poetry therapy regardless of experience or skill. You may surprise yourself with how naturally poetic you already are!
